LOS GATOS, CA — The deadline for submissions to the Los Gatos Art Association’s contest through the Greater Bay Area Open is coming up.
Winning entries will be displayed in the New Museum Los Gatos for five weeks. The Greater Bay Area Open is a fine art competition open to the nine Bay Area counties of 2D and 3D artwork.
The deadline for the contest is Jan. 9.

The theme this year is “Listen, Learn, Change, Grow.” The six categories for entries are: Oils, Acrylics, Watercolors, Mixed/Other, Photo/Digital, and 3D sculpture.
First place entries will receive $400, second place $200 and third place $100. The entry fee for the general public is $55 and $25 for emerging artists.
