Los Gatos Bank Robbery: Customer Injured; Suspects Sought

The armed bank robbery was reported at 11:30 a.m. Monday, according to the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department.

LOS GATOS, CA — Los Gatos-Monte Sereno police are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects who robbed a US Bank on Monday morning. Police said the two suspects entered the bank on 127 N. Santa Cruz Ave. sometime around 11:30 a.m., brandishing handguns and demanding cash.

No employees were injured, but at least one customer suffered injuries due to some type of physical force exerted by the suspect, according to police.

The suspects took cash and fled in an awaiting four-door sedan with moderate right-front end damage that was waiting on a nearby street.

Police describe the suspects as both being between 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 5 feet, 10 inches tall, wearing facemasks, sunglasses and black-hooded sweatshirts. One suspect had gray Nike running pants and black-and-red Nike shoes, while the other suspect donned dark gray pants and white running shoes.
