Los Gatos' Billy Jones 'Wildcat' Railroad
The historic engine has been in operation for more than 100 years in town.

The Billy Jones "Wildcat" Railroad carried passengers through the orchards at the Jones ranch for nearly 25 years.
The BJWRR has been in operation at Oak Meadow Park and Vasona Park in Los Gatos since 1970. In 2012 the railroad attracted more than 100,000 riders.
On Sunday, July 28, from 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. the BJWRR nonprofit corporation that runs the railway will be presenting its new 5 Spot steam engine with free rides at Oak Meadow Park, 233 Blossom Hill Rd.
The new engine arrived on April 29, 2013 and will be put into service with the help of the nonprofit volunteer engineers who are trained and certified. In the meantime, BJWRR 2 Spot and the two diesels will provide the motive power.
Donations are recommended. The W.E. "Bill Mason Carousel will charge $2 for rides. Details: bjwrr@verizon.net, or 408- 395-7433.
