Looks like the town's electric vehicle charging stations are finally being used exclusively by owners of the smart cars.
A vehicle parked next to the charging station next to the new library on Villa Avenue was juicing up nicely.
Los Gatos has three other electric vehicle charging stations at the Toll House Hotel parking lot, the parking lots between Elm and Main streets and Royce Street and Grays Lane.
There are also two EV charging stations at the Los Gatos Motor Inn, 55 Los Gatos-Saratoga Rd.
In the past, residents had complained that regular car drivers were using the spots and the town responded by making them exclusive for EV in May.
New signs next to the parking spots indicate non-EV drivers are prohibited from parking there.
