Updated: Los Gatos Fatal Collision Reported On Highway 85
The CHP this morning is reporting a fatal collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on state Highway 85 in Los Gatos.

UPDATE 8:00AM-
LOS GATOS - A 25-year-old woman was struck and killed by a vehicle Tuesday night on southbound state Highway 85 in Los Gatos.
At 10:44 p.m., the woman was walking in the southbound lanes of state Highway 85 north of Winchester Boulevard when a 2002 Toyota Corolla struck her, according to the California Highway Patrol.

After the initial collision, a 2003 Honda Civic struck the pedestrian a second time.
The woman suffered fatal injuries after being struck the first time and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Alcohol was not a factor in the collision, according to the CHP.
The collision closed a portion of state Highway 85 for about three hours.
The identity of the woman killed has not been released.

LOS GATOS - The California Highway Patrol this morning is reporting a fatal collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on state Highway 85 in Los Gatos.
The collision was first reported at 10:44 p.m. Tuesday on state Highway 85 just north of Winchester Boulevard, according to the CHP.
The collision closed down two lanes of the highway and the Winchester Boulevard off-ramp for about two hours.
A Sig-alert was issued at 11:43 p.m. Tuesday night, and all lanes were reopened around 1:37 a.m. this morning.
The Sig-alert has been canceled.
