Los Gatos Library To Host Event On Immigrants' Experience
The event features a Stanford master's student who has done reporting on Black migrants.
LOS GATOS, CA — The Los Gatos Library is hosting an event next Thursday focusing on immigrants’ experience with racism in the United States.
The event features Francesca Bentley, a Stanford master's student pursuing a degree in International Policy with a specialization in International Security. She has done reporting on Black migrants and worked as a Pulitzer Center Reporting Fellow, and hopes to work in geo-political consulting or intergovernmental organization.
Teens in grades six and up who are aspiring journalists, writers, historians, politicians and social justice warriors are especially welcome, according to the event listing.
