Arrest: 34 year old male, resident of Saratoga
Charges: Under the influence of a controlled substance

Officers responded to check the welfare of a subject who was reported to be soaking wet with no shoes on. Upon their arrival, officers determined that the subject was under the influence of a controlled substance. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

600-blk N. Santa Cruz Ave
Officers initiated a traffic enforcement stop. During the stop, the driver fled. A brief pursuit ensued but was discontinued. The driver has been identified and follow-up is being conducted.

100-blk Puesta del Sol
Officers responded to a reported fraud. The victim was led to believe that she had won a prize that would be paid after she pre-paid fees. The victim suffered a significant loss before realizing that she was being scammed.

Officers responded to a report of mail theft. Stolen mail was subsequently used to open fraudulent accounts.

Arrest: 25 year old male, resident of Monte Sereno
Charges: Outstanding warrant, driving on a suspended license

Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop and determined the driver to be driving on a suspended license. He also had an active warrant. A passenger was found to be on active parole. The driver was cited and released.

Los Gatos-Almaden/Leigh
Arrest: 51 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: Possession of stolen property, under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, parole violation

Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop and determined that the driver was on active parole. A search yielded a methamphetamine pipe and two United States passports not belonging to the driver. Officers were able to confirm that the passports had been stolen during a package theft in the city of Santa Clara. The subject was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

Quito/Austin
Arrest: 55 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: Possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license

Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop and determined that the driver was in possession of several methamphetamine pipes and methamphetamine. He was also found to be driving on a suspended license. He was cited and released.

17400-blk Wedgewood
Arrest: 42 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: Probation violation, under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person. A subject unknown to the resident knocked on the door and asked for a cup of coffee and a ride. Upon their arrival, officers determined the subject to be under the influence and in possession of several syringes. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.
