Officers responded to a reported identity theft. The victim was erroneously billed by a medical provider for services rendered to a patient with a similar name and date of birth. The error was corrected.

Officers responded to a commercial burglar alarm and arrived within 2 minutes. They located a shattered front window and confirmed that a burglary had occurred.

700-bk Blossom Hill
Arrest: 85 year old female, resident of Los Gatos
Charges: Theft

Officers responded to a reported theft at a commercial establishment. It was determined that the suspect entered the business, removed wine from the shelf, and went into the bathroom to consume the wine. She was cited and released.

Los Gatos Blvd/Samaritan
Arrest: 47 year old male, resident of Maryland
Charges: Drunk in public

Officers responded to a reported disturbance and determined that an involved subject was intoxicated and unable to care for himself. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

14600-blk Quito
Arrest: 21 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: Resisting arrest, prowling, attempted burglary

Officers responded to a suspicious circumstance. A resident reported seeing a subject, holding a bat, on her property. The suspect attempted to flee from responding officers but was taken into custody. It was determined that the suspect did attempt to enter the home. He was found to be intoxicated, arrested, and transported to Main Jail.

Loma Alta/Cypress
Arrest: 25 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: Possession of illegal weapon

Officers observed a suspicious vehicle and made contact with the driver. The driver was uncooperative with officers. After conducting a search of the vehicle, metal nunchakus were located. The subject was cited and released.
