Organizers of the program said priority will be given to organizations that do not receive funding from Los Gatos through other means. The groups who receive the grant must spend the money and complete the project by June 30, 2023.
The winners of the nonprofit grants will be announced in early August.

Additionally, $70,000 will be divided among five long-time partner nonprofits to help them sustain human-services roles in the community, organizers said.
The innovation micro-grants program will feature four $1,500 grants handed out to individuals, students, community groups or neighborhoods to help them jump-start a new idea that benefits the community, according to program organizers.
"(The grants) will be given to support the cost of time and supplies of developing and launching your project," organizers said. "If awarded, tangible results of the project will need to be achieved by June 30th, 2023."
The winners of the micro-grants will be announced in early September.
Los Gatos said all applications will be reviewed and rated based on a "set scoring rubric," by a committee comprised of two members of the Community Health and Senior Services Commission and two members of the Arts and Culture Commission.
