Los Gatos Seeks Applicants For Housing Element Advisory Board
Under the new housing element, the town is asked to accommodate 1,993 housing units for the upcoming eight-year period.
LOS GATOS, CA — The town of Los Gatos is seeking applicants to serve on the Housing Element Advisory Board to help navigate the next eight-year housing cycle in the town’s Regional Housing Needs Assessment.
Under the new housing element, the town is asked to accommodate 1,993 housing units for the upcoming eight-year period and must submit its plans by January of 2023.
Up to four Los Gatos residents will be appointed to the board, joining the town’s General Plan Committee in the effort.

Under RHNA, jurisdictions across the state are required to plan to add housing units in an effort to mitigate the affordable housing crisis, with a certain number of units required to be low-income or very low income.
