LOS GATOS, CA — The town of Los Gatos is taking over stewardship of the historic Los Gatos Theatre.

The Goetz family, the theater’s current owners, donated it to the town after purchasing the building in 2011.

The theater is over 100 years old, and has survived destruction from multiple fires and the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake. Following renovations, the theater reopened in 2014.
