Los Gatos Town Attorney To Resign
Robert Schultz, who has served as town attorney since 2013, underwent a performance review last week with the town council.

LOS GATOS, CA — Los Gatos Town Attorney Robert Schultz will resign at the end of the year, the town announced in a news release Monday morning.
The town did not disclose a reason for Schultz’s resignation, which is effective Dec. 30. Schultz, who has served as town attorney since 2013, underwent a performance review last week with the town council in a closed session.
“The Town Council respects Mr. Schultz’s dedication and service to Los Gatos,” Mayor Marico Sayoc said in the news release. “The value he provided to the Town was truly appreciated and we wish him the best of luck with his future endeavors.”

The town praised Schultz for his “problem-solving skills” that “contributed to sound legal solutions to difficult municipal issues” in the news release. The council will meet to determine the next steps for a replacement.
