LOS GATOS FOOD TRUCK FEST
For the second year in a row, Russ Stanley, owner of La Hacienda, 18840 Saratoga-Los Gatos Road, continues the culinary summer series of the Los Gatos Food Fest 5-9 p.m. Friday, July 26. The weekly Friday food extravaganza officially began Friday, May 17 and features live music and the presence of hugely popular food trucks. LOS GATOS SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL
Romance, tragedy, belly laughs and adventure return to Los Gatos July 26-28 with the 12th annual Los Gatos Shakespeare Festival. The 2013 season features three plays in repertory: The Tragedy of Hamlet and The Comedy of Errors by William Shakespeare, and The Further Adventures of the Three Musketeers, an original adaptation by Mark D. Pickens. Performances begin at 8 p.m. at Festival Theatre Ensemble's outdoor venue at Oak Meadow Park in Los Gatos. Tickets are $15 for youth 17 and under and seniors 60 and over; and $22 for adults. VASONA VIBRATIONS CONCERT
10th Avenue Band performns Saturday, July 27. For the 11th consecutive year, Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Department and South Bay Folks team up to bring you free, family-friendly concerts 5-7 p.m., every Saturday in June and July at Vasona Lake County Park, 333 Blossom Hill Rd. The concerts began Saturday, June 1 and are located on the lawn near the Ranger Office down the hill from the pedestrian entrance at University Avenue and Pepper Tree Lane. LOS GATOS MUSIC IN THE PARK
The community nonprofit organization Los Gatos Music & Arts holds its fifth Music in the Park concert of the season at 5 p.m. Sunday, July 28 at the Civic Center Park featuring Oliver Mtukudzi. The series ends Sunday, Aug. 25, with the performance of Talavya Indian Tabla drums. THE TUTTLES WITH AJ LEE AT THE WOODSHED
The next generation of bluegrass is here: The Tuttles with AJ Lee perform at The Woodshed at Keith Holland Guitars, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 16905 Roberts Rd. in Los Gatos. Tickets are $18 in advance, or $22 at the door. The young talented band is composed of singers and multi-instrumentalists who have been playing music since they were barely old enough to hold a pick. EVOLUTION OF GREEN: ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVISM IN SANTA CLARA VALLEY
Evolution of Green is an exhibit sharing the stories of those individuals and groups whose experiences have shaped the evolving narrative of the valley's environmental story for the past 50 years 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday and Friday and noon-4 p.m. Wednesday and Sunday through Sept. 1 at the History Museum of Los Gatos, 75 Church St. Details: 408-354-2646.
BILLY JONES 'WILDCAT' RAILROAD DAY IN LOS GATOS
The public is invited to celebrate Billy Jones 'Wildcat' Railroad Day 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday, July 28 at Oak Meadow Park, 233 Blossom Hill Rd. The BJWRR nonprofit corporation that runs the railway will be presenting its new 5 Spot steam engine with free rides. Donations are recommended. The W.E.
