Man Found Dead In SJ Parking Lot; Public's Help Sought To ID

Along with an artist's sketch of the John Doe, authorities released photos of his distinctive tattoos and the clothes he was found wearing.

SAN JOSE, CA — The Santa Clara County medical examiner's office is asking for the public's help in identifying a man who was found unresponsive in a south San Jose parking lot in June. A passerby found the man, who is likely in his 20s, on June 19 at 7078 Indian Wells Court, according to Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Michele Jordan. His right shoe was located about 70 feet away from his body and a royal blue jacket was found about 5 feet away, according to Jordan.

The man may have been seen intoxicated on June 17 in the same location, according to Jordan, who said forensic attempts to identify the man have failed.

The medical examiner's office did not release further information about why they have been unable to identify the man.
