Man Shot Dead Near South San Jose Park: Police

SANTA CLARA VALLEY, CA — A man was shot to death Sunday night in San Jose, police said. Officers responded at 8:48 p.m. as more than one person called to say shots were fired in the 5000 block of Charlotte Drive near Charlotte Commons Park in South San Jose.

Police said officers found a man with at least one gunshot wound.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the suspect or suspects in the shooting are at large and police do not know the circumstances or the motive for the shooting.
