Motorcyclist Killed In Blossom Hill Road Crash
Police say the 23-year-old motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet.

SAN JOSE, CA — A man who died after his motorcycle collided with an SUV on Blossom Hill Road in San Jose on Sunday has been identified by the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office as Manuel Contreras, 23.
At 3:52 p.m., San Jose police responded to the collision at Blossom Hill Road and Judith Street, officers said. Arriving officers found that Contreras was traveling east in the left lane on a 2003 Suzuki GSX-R bike when he crashed into the rear of a black 2007 Ford Edge that was stopped for traffic, according to police.
Contreras was not wearing a helmet. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

The driver of the Ford Edge remained on scene and cooperated with investigators.
Contreras' death marked the 14th fatal collision and 15th victim lost on city streets in 2018.
