New Pop-Up Kitchen Opens In South Bay Courtesy Of DoorDash
DoorDash Kitchens is opening a new location in San Jose featuring brands from San Francisco along with some national icons.
SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — DoorDash Kitchens opened a new pop-up kitchen location in the South Bay, featuring brands from San Francisco along with some national icons. The location, in San Jose’s Westfield Oakridge Mall, opened Thursday and features pickup and delivery from the following restaurants:
- Aria Korean Street Food
- Canter’s Deli
- Curry Up Now
- Milk Bar
- The Melt Express
- YiFang Taiwan Fruit Tea
San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo said the city looks forward to “laying the groundwork” for DoorDash Kitchens.
“San Jose has always served as a launchpad for new ideas that help businesses flourish and allow our residents to access the best that the world has to offer,” Liccardo said. “The launch of DoorDash Kitchens in San Jose will empower local restaurants to grow their business during this time of recovery, and will also allow San Joseans to order food from a selection of incredible brands from across the U.S. for the first time.”

Customers in San Jose, Saratoga and Campbell will be able to order pickup and delivery from the location. DoorDash Kitchens also has a Redwood City location for Peninsula residents.
“The restaurant industry is experiencing a time of incredible acceleration, and we are excited to continue exploring new ways to help partners globally pull forward to meet speed and pace of innovation with new kitchen models,” said Ruth Isenstadt, Director of DoorDash Kitchens. “We are honored to partner with this group of incredible restaurants to launch our delivery and pickup only location in San Jose.”
