New Wine Tasting Room Opens In Los Gatos: Report

LOS GATOS, CA — A new tasting room has opened in downtown Los Gatos.

Gali Vineyards hosted its grand opening over the weekend. The tasting room features wine from the vineyard, located in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

The proprietor, Janice Gali, told the Mercury News that the tasting room — formerly the home of the crafts store Craftbox — is set up for success.

“It was really well cared for,” Gali told the Mercury News. “The fir floors are gorgeous, and the natural light is great. It’s a mix of rustic industrial with black accents for an elegant look. We’ve made the whole space open, airy and inviting. Everyone is very excited about what we’re doing with the place.”

The tasting room contains a wooden bar, lounge area, cocktail tables and plenty of standing room, according to the Mercury News. It is open Wednesdays through Sundays.
