Sam Liccardo, San Jose Mayor, said on Twitter that families and loved ones to not approach the scene or leave their car. A reunification center will be set up in the Home Depot parking lot on Blossom Hill Road.
"If you're still in the mall or awaiting loved ones, SJPD officers will find those inside and send them out as they safely clear the mall. This will take time--please be patient," Liccardo wrote in a tweet.
