Police Log: Knife Threat, DUI Crash, Child Abuse, Public Urination

The following crime information was provided by the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department. The incidents are for the period of Oct. 4-8, 2013.

Commercial Burglary: 1:30 p.m. Oct. 6 on University Avenue
Weapons: 10:42 p.m. Oct. 4 on North Santa Cruz Avenue, a restaurant patron was asked to leave and after he became angry he threatened one of the establishment's employees with a steak knife. He was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail.
Criminal Threats: 11:37 a.m. Oct. 3 on Los Gatos Boulevard
Grand Theft: 2 p.m. Oct. 4 on Twin Creeks Road in Monte Sereno
Petty Theft: 3:06 p.m. Oct. 4 on Los Gatos Boulevard
DUI Accident: 5:58 p.m. Oct. 7 at Daves Avenue and Winchester Boulevard, a 24-year-old man was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail after he crashed into a curb and sign disabling the vehicle and being determined to be under the influence of alcohol.
Vehicle Towed: 9:56 a.m. Oct. 7 on Alberto Way
Animal Bite: 6:34 p.m. Oct. 7 on University Avenue
Vehicle Recovery: 7:58 p.m. Oct. 7 on Corinne Drive
Mental Health: 8:12 a.m. Oct. 8 on Avery Lane
Child Abuse: 10:05 a.m. Oct. 8 at undisclosed location, a person reported their child was being physically abused by another adult.
Court Violation: 2:37 p.m. Oct. 8 on Los Gatos Boulevard, a father reported that the mother of his daughter violated their child custody order.
Mental Health: 4:21 p.m. Oct. 8 on Los Gatos Boulevard
Public Intoxication: 9:48 p.m. Oct. 8 on Blossom Hill Road, a 57-year-old man was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail for being drunk in public and urination.
