Police Log: Theft Victim Makes Citizen's Arrest, Counterfeiting

The following crime information was provided by the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department. These are the incidents for Aug. 15-19, 2013.

Residential Burglary: 8:30 a.m. Aug. 15 on Dover Street
Identity Theft: 10:07 a.m. Aug. 15 at Camellia Terrace and Cherry Blossom Lane
Identity Theft: 10:56 a.m. Aug. 15 on Winchester Circle
Identity Theft: 4:23 p.m. Aug. 15 on Ferris Avenue
Minor Injury Accident: 8:59 p.m. Aug. 15 at More Avenue and Montclair Road
Petty Theft: 1:39 p.m. Aug. 15 on West Main Street
Petty Theft: 6:44 p.m. Aug. 16 on Los Gatos Boulevard, a 59-year-old woman was placed under citizen's arrest for petty theft.
Minor Injury Accident: 10:20 p.m. Aug. 16 at Los Gatos-Saratoga Road and southbound Highway 17.
DUI: 1:34 a.m. Aug. 17 at East Main Street and Villa Avenue, a 23-year-old woman was arrested for DUI.
Vehicle Tow: 2:27 a.m. Aug. 17 at Muni lot 5 on University Avenue
Petty Theft: 1:48 p.m. Aug. 17 on Belglen Way
Recovered Stolen Vehicle: 2:53 p.m. Aug. 17 on Arnerich Road
Counterfeiting: 6:12 p.m. Aug. 17 at Trader Joe's on Los Gatos Boulevard
Hit-And-Run: 8:59 p.m. Aug. 17 at No. Santa Cruz and Bean avenues
Warrant Arrest: 10:11 p.m. Aug. 17 on Los Gatos Boulevard, a 52-year-old man was cited and released for having two warrants for his arrest.
Vandalism: 7:51 p.m. May 31 on Madrone Avenue
Petty Theft: 3:58 a.m. Aug. 18 on Avery Lane
Grand Theft: 10:10 a.m. Aug. 19 at Lark Avenue and Winchester Boulevard, food was stolen from a work truck parked on Winchester Boulevard.
Grand Theft: 10:18 a.m. Aug. 19 on So. Santa Cruz Avenue, a man reported that his locked mountain bicycle was stolen from his vehicle's mounted rack.
Petty Theft: 1:10 p.m. Aug. 19 at Los Gatos Library, 100 Villa Avenue
Petty Theft: 1:14 p.m. Aug. 19 on No. Santa Cruz Avenue
Vandalism: 1:18 p.m. Aug. 19 on More Avenue
Petty Theft: 1:20 p.m. Aug. 19 on Almendra Avenue
