"The rap artist, producer and entrepreneur invested in Uber’s Series B round in 2011 when the company had a pre-money valuation of $300 million. Jay-Z has also invested in JetSmarter and Julep. Roc Nation backed Promise, a decarceration startup."
In 2017, the 47-year-old Los Angeles resident was estimated to worth a whopping $810 million so it sounds like he has plenty of money to invest in Silicon Valley!
