The new Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) Program is a minimally invasive surgery option for patients who experience aortic stenosis, the narrowing of the aortic valve. The procedure has a lower risk of complication and a faster recovery time than a traditional aortic valve replacement.
Hospital leadership and the clinical multidisciplinary team spent 16 months developing the program during the pandemic.
