LOS GATOS, CA — The Youth Science Institute, a South Bay nonprofit, is offering three “Science Saturdays” this month at Vasona Lake in Los Gatos, beginning this weekend.
The four-hour events are intended to provide space for children to explore in nature while learning about science, according to the organization.
The first event, held Nov. 6, was called “Crawlies Aren’t Creepy” and featured learning about insects followed by a nature walk.
