South Bay Blaze Displaces 2

Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control in about 30 minutes. There were no reports of injuries.

SARATOGA, CA — A structure fire at a residence in Saratoga on Thursday afternoon displaced two people.

Firefighters with the Santa Clara County Fire Department responded at 4:01 p.m. to multiple reports of a fire in the area of the 22100 block of Rolling Hills Road.

Responding firefighters located a two-story residence with heavy smoke and fire coming from the second story above the garage.

Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control in about 30 minutes.

The building sustained fire and smoke damage to the second floor and water damage to the ground floor.

There were no reported injuries in the blaze.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
