MORGAN HILL, CA — A person and a dog died in a fire at a mobile home park in Morgan Hill late Wednesday night, according to the city's fire department.
Firefighters responded around 11:15 p.m. to the fire at the Windmill Mobile Estates off of San Pedro Avenue. The name of the person who died is not yet being released by the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office as of Thursday afternoon.
The fire, which destroyed the mobile home, is being investigated by Cal Fire with support from Morgan Hill police and a Santa Clara County arson task force, fire officials said.
