South Bay Shooting Suspect Sought: Cops

The Christmas Hill Park shooting left an adult male victim hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, police said.

GILROY, CA — At least one suspect was sought in connection with a South Bay shooting as of early Tuesday evening, the Gilroy Police Department said in an alert.

An adult male victim was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, police said.

Officers at around 3:05 p.m. Tuesday responded to Christmas Hill Park (7049 Miller Ave.) on the report of the shooting, police said.

“It was determined an adult male sustained at least one gunshot wound and was transported to a local trauma center with life-threatening injuries,” police said in a statement.

“The suspect(s) fled the scene prior to police arrival and have not yet been identified. There is no additional information available at this time.”
