South Bay Target Theft Suspect Leads Cops On 30-Minute Foot Chase
The pursuit culminated with the suspect's arrest on Black Hawk Drive, authorities said.
SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — A grand theft suspect was arrested over the weekend at a South Bay Target store after a foot through residential neighborhoods, authorities said.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion grand theft and resisting arrest, the Morgan Hill Police Department said.
The grand theft occurred at around 8 p.m. Saturday at the Target Store at 1061 Cochrane Rd., police said.

Officers located the suspect as he was driving away, police said.
The suspect parked his car and ran toward a residential community after realizing he’d been spotted by officers, police said.

“A foot pursuit ensued as the suspect ran into the Coyote Estates neighborhood east of Target,” Morgan Hill police said on the agency’s Facebook page.
“The suspect jumped numerous fences, running through several backyards in an attempt to evade capture.”
The pursuit, which lasted around 30 minutes, culminated with the suspect’s arrest on Black Hawk Drive, police said.
