The Los Gatos 'Leaning Power Pole'
A utility pole leaning southeast behind Carry Nations, 8 No. Santa Cruz Ave., and near Kitsch Couture in the back parking lot, has caused one resident to raise concerns about its safety.

A reader alerted us to a utility pole that's leaning southeast behind Carry Nations, 8 No. Santa Cruz Ave., and near Kitsch Couture in the back parking lot.
According to the reader, who asked to remain anonymous, the pole has not been hit by a car, but seems to be tilting more recently.
Cables on top of the pole don't seem to be weighing it down, but perhaps the three white transformer cylinders are the reason for its arching.
The reader noted he's concerned the pole is under stress and could potentially threaten cars in the parking lot and nearby stores.
Los Gatos Patch will find out which agency is responsible for the pole to bring up the concerns. We will update this post, when more information becomes available.
