Thousands Lose Power In Bay Area Due To Weather
BREAKING: Santa Cruz County and South Bay areas spared.

BAY AREA, CA – Wind and rain heading into the Bay Area has already caused thousands of residents and businesses to lose power this morning.
In the North Bay, more than 3,800 customers are in the dark as of this morning. In the East Bay, as many as 11,500 PG&E customers lost power, mainly in the Richmond and San Pablo areas.
As of 7:15 a.m. 10,700 were still without power, PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said.

On the Peninsula, 3,800 PG&E customers lost power overnight, mainly in Burlingame, Millbrae and Redwood City.
There were no significant power outages reported in the South Bay or in Santa Cruz beach areas.
