Veterans Day Celebration at The Flame of Liberty Memorial
America's Guardians of Liberty Gather to Celebrate Freedom & Their Contributions to America
Freedom is more than just a word. It’s a gift — one that we often take for granted, but one that is safeguarded by the unwavering courage of those who wear the uniform.
Every day, across the world, our military members step forward, not for recognition, but for a cause greater than themselves. They stand watch in the face of danger, with a singular purpose: to protect the freedoms we hold dear.
This is not just their duty; it is their sacrifice. It’s the bravery to stand in harm’s way, to take risk, face evil and write a blank check up to and including one's life to defend the lives of those they may never know, to ensure that the flame of liberty continues to burn brightly for generations to come.

They are the ones who answer the call when our nation needs them most. Their courage in the darkest of times shines as a beacon of hope for all.
Veterans, active military members, military families and patriotic citizens gathered at the Adult Recreation Center in Los Gatos on Saturday, November 16 to celebrate America’s heroes in a Veterans Day Celebration. Attendees were treated to enlightening remarks by guest speakers, patriotic songs that reflect the spirit of America, a flag ceremony at The Flame of Liberty Memorial, and an opportunity to network with other active military members, Veterans, military families and patriotic citizens. And there couldn't have been a better venue for the affair as The Flame of Liberty honors all branches of the military and the California State Guard. The memorial honors POWs, those Missing In Action, and the Fallen as symbolized by The Soldiers Cross that sits quietly within the heart of the flame reminding us that the sacrifices of a few deliver the liberty enjoyed by many.
