West Valley Community Services Hosts Chefs Of Compassion Gala

LOS GATOS, CA — West Valley Community Services is hosting the 11th annual Chefs of Compassion gala on Friday.
The virtual gala will benefit West Valley Community Services, which serves the communities of Los Gatos, Cupertino, Saratoga, Monte Sereno and West San Jose.
It will involve three Bay Area chefs going head-to-head to design courses to be delivered to people’s doors, using ingredients sourced from the organization’s in-house market by 3 p.m. on Friday.

The chefs are Nikos Moulinos of Palo Alto’s Tavern, Sachin Chopra of San Mateo’s All Spice and Isaac Karachepone of Palo Alto’s Stanford Health Care. Three judges — Marlee Belmonte, Anne Gelhaus and Mike Foulkes — will serve as judges.
Tickets cost $175, but the event is sold out, according to the registration page. The event begins at 6 p.m. on Friday.
