Adamson House Begins Rotating Exhibit
The Adamson House Foundation's new rotating exhibit program will rotate four times per year at The Malibu Lagoon Museum.

Two UCLA students' recreation of the historic Malibu Potteries tile is on display at the Malibu Lagoon Museum through June.
"Malibu Paper Potteries" is the first of four rotating exhibits this year at the museum on the property in Malibu, according to Rosario Bayón, a spokeswoman for the The Adamson House Foundation.
The exhbit created by sisters Hamila and Homayra Bahrami is a tribute to the Malibu Potteries tile used throughout the Adamson House, which was built in 1929 and designed by architect Stiles O. Clements.

The Bahramis, who are UCLA Extension design students within the Architectural and Interior Design Program, created the display as they were taken on a recent field trip by UCLA Extension design instructor Eleanor Schapa, who is a newly elected member to The Adamson House Foundation Board of Directors.
The Bahrami sisters’ assignment was to document a specific part of the design of the property with visual tools, and they were so inspired that they created a detailed and intricate re-creation showing portions of the Malibu Potteries tile found at Adamson House, according to Bayón.
