Take a Plunge for Special Olympics

The Southern California Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics is sponsoring Polar Plunges at Zuma Beach, Malibu & Castaic Lake on Feb.18,  to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics. 

What: Anyone can plunge – young and old – into the Pacific Ocean or Castaic Lake to raise funds for Special Olympics. 
(Minimum donation of $50.00, includes a t-shirt) 

Where: Two locations: Zuma Beach, Malibu and Castaic Lake, Castaic (Details Below) 

When: Saturday, February 18, 2012: Registration/Check-in 8:30 am & Plunge 10:00 am 

Why: The Polar Plunges will raise funds for Special Olympics Southern California to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
