Bacteria Warning: Authorities Clear 3 Malibu Beaches For Swimming
A bacteria warning was canceled for three Malibu beaches Friday.

MALIBU, CA — Authorities cleared Leo Carrillo State Beach, Latigo Shore Drive and Topanga Canyon Beach for swimming Friday after issuing bacteria warnings for the three Malibu beaches.
The Los Angeles County department of public health had previously advised against swimming in the three Malibu beaches for multiple days due to unsafe bacteria levels. Per Friday's testing, the beaches had acceptable bacteria levels for water activities.
Bacteria warnings are still in place for Mother's Beach in Marina del Rey and the Santa Monica Pier.
