Boat With 577 Pounds Of Marijuana Found Abandoned In Malibu
The U.S. Coast Guard discovered a beached fishing boat packed with more than 40 bales of marijuana in Malibu.
MALIBU, CA — A beached fishing boat packed with more than 500 pounds of marijuana was found abandoned in Malibu, the U.S. Coast Guard said.
The boat was found about 6:30 a.m. Saturday on the beach, according to the Coast Guard.
Inside the boat, the Coast Guard found a total of 41 bales of marijuana weighing about 577 pounds.

The Coast Guard sent up a helicopter to search for any people in the area or in distress in the water, but no one was found, Fox 11 reported.
