MALIBU, CA — Motorists should expect heavy traffic in Malibu and Topanga Canyon Tuesday as the impacts of two landslides in recent days continue, officials said.

Topanga Canyon Boulevard remains completely closed between Pacific Coast Highway and Grand View Drive due to an active landslide. The road was first shut down on March 9, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Both southbound lanes of Pacific Coast Highway have reopened at Big Rock Drive after all lanes were completely shut down in the area Monday morning due to a landslide. Only one northbound lane had reopened by Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
