Emergency Preparedness Talk Set for Next Month
The presentation will focus on emergency preparedness for earthquakes, tsunamis and wild fires.

A presentation on emergency preparedness for earthquakes, tsunamis and wild fires will be held next month at Malibu United Methodist Church.
The presentation is set for 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16 and will feature Brad Davis, Emergency Services Coordinator for Malibu.
Davis, who has worked for the city for nine years, is responsible for the development and implementation of the emergency operations plan and the hazard mitigation plan for Malibu.

Davis has worked for FEMA, Federal Emergency Management Agency. Davis, has trained Malibu’s volunteer CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) and teaches CERT classes throughout the year to those who want to be prepared.
