“Traces of Memory: A Contemporary Look at the Jewish Past in Poland"

Pepperdine University’s Diane and Guilford Glazer Institute for Jewish Studies presents an exhibit examining relics of Jewish life and culture in Polish Galicia on the second floor of Payson Library.

The exhibit includes photos by late photojournalist Chris Schwarz and research and texts by Dr. Jonathan Webber, vice-chairman of the Institute for Polish-Jewish Studies at Oxford. The items were compiled over a period of 12 years.

The opening event includes a lecture from Los Angeles Public Library curator Louise Steinman, who is working on a book examining her family’s personal history through the Holocaust. 

The exhibit will be on display through April 25.
