Five Good Minutes: Madison Hildebrand

Malibu real estate agent Madison Hildebrand will return to cable television Wednesday on Bravo's fifth season of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles.

Hildebrand, who co-stars in the show alongside Josh Flagg and Josh Altman, is a Coldwell Banker Sales Associate.

He spoke to Malibu Patch about the show and his life in Malibu.

Malibu Patch: I understand you went to and you decided to stick around Malibu. How long have you lived here?

Madison Hildebrand: I cannot leave Malibu. I came out here in 1999, so that's put me at 13 years. I love it that much.

Malibu Patch: I saw in the promo for season five the use of the phrase “The Malibu Life.” What does that mean to you?

Madison Hildebrand: When I got into this business, I branded myself as a lifestyle agent, not just a real estate agent. I hopefully embody what people out here see as Malibu with the blending of outdoors and indoors, great people, great shops.

Malibu Patch: What can people expect in this season of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles?

Madison Hildebrand: I just watched the first episode last night. I’ve got the inside scoop. I thought they would draw out the drama a little bit longer. It certainly heats up. The real estate they have shown is exceptional. It’s a very emotional season for me.

Malibu Patch: Why was it an emotional season for you?

Madison Hildebrand: I feel I am not holding back ... I get really angry, I get really sad. I don't hold anything back. All of those emotions play out and I stand my ground.

Malibu Patch: Do you mainly showcase Malibu homes or other cities on the Westside?

Madison Hildebrand: I’m mainly all over Malibu and work with Malibu clients. Most of my clients are great and difficult to negotiate with and fun. It makes for a wonderful piece.
