The  subcommittee in charge of the government's finances recently recommended that former City Treasurer Pete Lippman return to that role. The proposal is expected to go before the full council in March, Assistant City Manager Reva Feldman told Malibu Patch on Tuesday.

The proposal calls for Lippman to work 10 hours per month on a $250 retainer. He would be paid $40 per hour for any work beyond the 10 hours.
