Former Savory Chef Opens New Restaurant
Juicy Lucy will open next week in downtown Los Angeles.
Just two months after shuttering Savory in Malibu due to a dispute with a landlord, Paul Shoemaker is celebrating the opening of his new eatery, Juicy Lucy.
The burger concept is located at Figat7th at 735 S. Figuera Street in downtown Los Angeles.
The official opening of Juicy Lucy is set for Tuesday, Jan. 8.

Shoemaker was forced to close Savory in November following issues with Point Dume Village owner Zan Marquis.
Savory was listed in Los Angeles Magazine's Top 10 Best New Restaurants in 2011, along with being nominated for a 2012 James Beard Award.
