Room Fills for the Great Debate
The seven City Council candidates share their opinions on the Malibu issues.

Malibu residents filled up the Zuma Room at on Thursday night to watch take part in the Great Malibu Debate, hosted by Malibu Patch and Moms-Pod.
The event was recorded on video. The video will be posted on Malibu Patch early Saturday morning.
The candidates were asked six questions regarding Malibu issues. If you have a question for the candidates, you still have time to submit one for the Malibu Patch questionnaire. The questions can be emailed to jonathan.friedman@patch.com.

Several questions were collected from residents last month and Malibu Patch will accept additional ones through Sunday evening. The rules for the questionnaire can be found . The candidates will receive the questionnaire next week and their answers will appear on Malibu Patch later in March.
Election Day is April 10. The last day to register to vote is March 26. Residents can request absentee ballots March 12 through April 3. The absentee ballot request forms will appear on the sample ballots, which will be mailed to residents' homes March 12. The request forms will also appear on the city's website.
