Guns Drawn in Malibu

A vehicle reported stolen in Fremont was found Wednesday afternoon in the parking lot of the  in Malibu on Pacific Coast Highway near , according to the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station. The alleged thief was arrested. He is not a Malibu resident.

Lost Hills officials drew guns, but did not fire them, during the arrest. Sgt. Hugo Mosquera said it is the station's policy to draw guns during felony traffic stops.

Mosquera said the vehicle was found in the parking lot. The license plate number was run through a system, and it was determined the vehicle was the one reported stolen from Fremont.
