Malibu City Attorney Ranked Among Top in State
Christi Hogin first served as Malibu's Assistant City Attorney in 1991, when the city of Malibu incorporated, and then as City Attorney in 1994.

Malibu City Attorney Christi Hogin has been recognized as among the top 25 municipal lawyers in California.
This is the second year that Hogin, who has been with the city of Malibu since it incorporated in 1991, has been recognized by the Daily Journal as a top municipal attorney.
"Malibu demands much of Christi and she consistently delivers," Mayor Lou La Monte said. "She gives us thoughtful advice; she's creative when we need her to be; and she is an effective advocate in court and before other agencies. The Daily Journal has not told us anything we did not already know about Christi: she is among the very best."
