Residents are encouraged to drop off used motor oil, batteries, latex paint, stereos, TVs, telephones and cellphones.

Beginning in August 2012, all-in-one recycling events will be scheduled on the 3rd Saturday of even months (February, April, June, August, October and December). Events will take place in the City Hall parking lot from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to Olivia Damavandi, the city's media information officer.
