The fundraiser is set for Thursday, May 31 at the Canyon Club in Agoura and will feature the popular band The English Beat.

Malibu Global Awareness will hold its ninth annual fundraiser for Doctors Without Borders Thursday night.
The event, which will feature The English Beat, Ali King & Kelsey B, is set for 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday, May 31 at the Canyon Club at 28912 Roadside Drive in Agoura Hills.
"Fundraisers over the years have generated hundreds of thousands of dollars for the emergency medical relief work of Doctors Without Borders throughout the world," said Annie Thiel, who founded the nonprofit Malibu Global Awareness in 2003 in memory of her late husband, Dr. Richard Thiel, an active supporter of Doctors Without Borders for over 20 years.
