Malibu Inn Hopes to Draw in New Talent

Vicky Hamilton is best known for her work with Guns N' Roses, Motley Crue, Poison, Faster Pussycat, and June Carter-Cash.

The Malibu Inn hopes to breathe new life into the historic landmark with the addition of Vicky Hamilton, who is known for her work in breaking musicians into the music industry.

Hamilton, who is best known for her work with Guns N' Roses and June Carter-Cash, was recently brought on as the Malibu Inn's in-house booker.

The upcoming schedule already includes performances by 3 Bad Jacks, Dick Dale, BlackBurner, an upcoming ‘Dinner and a Movie’ series which will be held in the screening room, and a Halloween show with 45 Grave, according to publicist Heather Weiss.

Hamilton, who was known in the 80s as the "Metal Maven," held a spot as an A&R Executive at Geffen Records, where she worked under David Geffen, and later moved on to work at Capitol Records.

She also created her own label, Small Hairy Dog, and was featured on VH1, MTV, and the Biography Channel for her role in the ever-changing music industry. She is currently working on her own documentary Until The Music Ends.
