Malibu Patch Marks 1st Anniversary

One year ago today, a community-driven website dedicated to the city of Malibu was born. This website is Malibu Patch. Since that time, the site has grown immensely in features, viewers and respect.

I am proud to be the editor of Malibu Patch, the best source for local information on the greatest city in the world—Malibu, Calif. The site has become what it is, not because of me, but because of you— the people who live, work or play (and in many cases all three) in Malibu.

Each day, my email inbox is flooded with news tips, story ideas and suggestions about how to make the site better. My phone is often ringing with people wanting to share these messages as well. Without these emails and phone calls, Malibu Patch could not succeed.
