Malibu Residents Rankled Over RVs Parking Overnight On PCH
Although there is no overnight parking on PCH, residents said RV campers are staying for days at a time.

MALIBU, CA — Residents in Malibu are getting fed up with RVs parking overnight on Pacific Coast Highway, according to ABC7. The station reported that RVs have been setting a camp on a stretch of highway between Topanga Canyon and Sunset Boulevard for days or weeks at a time.
The stretch is in an unincorporated part of Malibu, according to ABC7. According to Caltrans, there is no parking on PCH between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. State law forbids a vehicle from parking in one place for more than two days, according to the station.
One resident told ABC7the campers are dropping trash and raw sewage in the area. County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl's office is working on finding a solution, the station reported.
